Coimbatore campaigns, with the actual numbers.

Across the ten Google Ads pages ranking in Coimbatore right now, there is exactly one named client with a real number attached. The rest is "a retail shop in Coimbatore" and logos with nothing beside them. Here's who, what I changed, and what it produced.

What Google Ads management costs with me.

Nine of the ten Google Ads pages ranking in Coimbatore won't tell you what they charge. The one that does publishes the market's rates rather than its own: 10–20% of ad spend, or ₹3,000–₹15,000 a month flat. Here's mine, and here's why the structure matters.

A flat fee — never a percentage of your ad spend

Percentage-of-spend is a conflict of interest and I won't take it. If I'm paid 15% of what you spend, my incentive is for you to spend more — not for your cost per lead to fall. A flat fee means the only way I look good is if the account performs. When your spend genuinely outgrows the tier, I'll tell you and we'll reprice it in the open.

Included: account structure and build · keyword and search-term management · negative keyword maintenance · ad copy and assets · bid and budget governance · conversion tracking and GA4 configuration · monthly reporting and a call · ongoing optimisation.

Not included, quoted separately so you can see them: landing page design and build · creative and video production · third-party call-tracking subscriptions · your ad spend, which goes directly to Google on your own card.

Your ad spend and my fee are separate lines, always. A single blended number makes it impossible to tell what you paid for work and what actually reached the auction.

The minimum ad spend I'll accept, and why

₹30,000 /month confirm

Below that I'll tell you not to run Google Ads yet. The arithmetic: clicks in Coimbatore run roughly ₹15 to ₹120 depending on the category. At ₹40 a click, ₹30,000 buys about 750 clicks. At a 5% conversion rate that's around 37 enquiries — just enough for Smart Bidding to have something to learn from and for you to judge the channel honestly. At ₹10,000 you get about 250 clicks, a dozen enquiries, and no basis for any decision at all. You'll conclude Google Ads doesn't work when what actually happened is you never gave it enough data to find out.

If ₹30,000 isn't realistic right now, that's a normal answer and there are better places to put the money: your Google Business Profile and local SEO first, which cost time rather than media spend. I'd rather tell you that than take a retainer for a campaign that was never going to work.

Ownership

Your account, your billing, your data.

Not one of the ten pages ranking in Coimbatore says a sentence about who owns the ad account. That silence is not an accident.

01
Created in your name

You're the administrator; your card pays Google directly. Spend history stays yours — the thing agency-held billing quietly destroys.

02
Access by manager link only

A link you can sever yourself, at any time. I never ask for your Google password — treat anyone who does as a warning.

03
Offboarding in two working days

Account, history, campaigns, conversion setup and documentation stay with you — handed over in writing, without asking twice.

04
What I need from you

Access to Google Ads, GA4, Tag Manager and your site. An hour a month. And an honest answer about which enquiries turn into money.

Lead quality

Qualified leads, not form fills.

If your reporting shows a suspiciously cheap cost per lead, one of these three is usually why.

GA4 named on ranking pages: 0Offline conversion import: 0
01
Defined in writing, before launch

You and your sales team agree what a qualified lead is — because that definition is what the bidding algorithm optimises toward. Without it, the platform learns to find form-fillers, not buyers.

02
Tracking verified before spend scales

GA4 and Tag Manager aligned, enhanced conversions on, and — where you have a CRM — closed leads imported back into Google Ads, so it chases customers rather than enquiries. The step almost nobody does.

03
Calls and WhatsApp, honestly counted

Calls need a minimum duration — a 4-second hang-up isn't a lead. WhatsApp clicks are secondary actions, not conversions: a click is not a conversation.

Method

How I run a Google Ads account in 2026.

Two of the pages ranking above me still say "AdWords" in their headline — a name Google retired in 2018. Not one ranking page mentions Performance Max, Demand Gen or Smart Bidding. That's not a naming quibble; a provider still selling retired campaign types hasn't opened the platform recently, and outdated structure costs you money every month.

Google Ads Search
01The core

Search first, and structured by intent

Brand and non-brand separated, always — otherwise brand traffic you'd have got for free flatters the whole account and hides what non-brand is really costing. Campaigns split by service or product line rather than lumped together, so budget follows margin. For Annai Ambulance that meant a separate campaign per service; for a 10-city appliance repair client it meant campaigns by city and service category, with dynamic keyword insertion on brand and landing page headings that update from the URL to match the query that triggered the ad.

Somebody reads the search terms report every week. That somebody is me.

Performance Max
02Handled with care

Performance Max — where it earns its place

PMax is not a one-click campaign, and it will amplify a badly defined conversion goal faithfully and expensively. Run properly it needs correct goals, organised asset groups, feed control, audience signals, brand exclusions, managed URL expansion, and experiments to check whether it actually added conversions or just took credit for ones you'd have got anyway.

I use it where the inventory and the data support it — not as a substitute for knowing what your customers search for.

Demand Gen
03Happening now

Demand Gen and the Display migration

Google has been moving Display inventory into Demand Gen. If your account still runs legacy Display campaigns untouched, that's where the migration is happening to you rather than with you.

Smart Bidding
04No myths

Smart Bidding

Automated bidding works when the conversion signal underneath it is clean and there's enough volume to learn from — which loops back to the minimum spend and the qualified-lead definition above. You'll see a specific conversion count quoted as the threshold where Smart Bidding "starts working." I won't quote one, because it isn't a platform rule.

Shopping and Merchant Center
05Online stores

Shopping and Merchant Center

For e-commerce: feed health first, because a broken feed defeats every clever thing you do downstream. Product-level structure, disapproval monitoring, and margin-aware bidding rather than blanket ROAS targets.

Meta ads
06The other platform

Meta, where it belongs

Foot Treat's Facebook campaigns returned 3× and produced leads at ₹23. Meta is demand generation and Google is demand capture — they do different jobs, and I'll tell you honestly when your money belongs on one rather than both.

The plan

The first 30 days, with dates attached.

Generic 8-step process graphics are everywhere on this SERP. Here's mine instead — what happens each week, and what you receive at the end of it.

Days 1–7

Audit and economics

Account teardown, wasted spend identified, and — before keywords — your numbers: margin, average order or job value, close rate, and what a customer is actually worth. The qualified-lead definition gets written down and agreed here.

You receive
  • A written audit with the largest waste findings
  • The agreed conversion definition
  • A realistic cost-per-lead target based on your margins rather than an industry average
Days 8–14

Tracking before spend

Conversion tracking rebuilt and verified, GA4 and Tag Manager aligned, call tracking live, CRM connected where one exists. Nothing scales until the measurement is trustworthy.

You receive
  • A tracking document showing exactly what fires, when, and where it lands
Days 15–21

Build and launch

Account restructured by intent, negative keyword lists built, ads and assets written against the landing pages they point at, budgets and bid strategies set.

You receive
  • The campaign structure document
  • Live campaigns
Days 22–30

First optimisation cycle

Search terms reviewed, waste cut, bids adjusted, early data read honestly.

You receive
  • Your first report — qualified leads and cost per qualified lead first, then clicks and impressions
  • A call to go through it

Month 2 onward: weekly search-term review, monthly reporting and a call, quarterly strategic reset. Month to month after the first 90 days.

Who I work with

Coimbatore businesses I run ads for.

Doctor consulting a patient in a clinic
01

Healthcare and clinics

Procedure-level campaigns, appointment tracking, and enquiry quality over volume. Dental, ophthalmology, diagnostics, emergency services.

Pump casting and motor on a foundry floor
02

Manufacturing and export

Long cycles and technical buyers. A pump manufacturer doesn't need a thousand clicks; it needs six enquiries from people who specify.

Admissions team reviewing an enquiry dashboard
03

Education and admissions

Intake-cycle budgets, enquiry-to-enrolment tracking, and campaigns that ramp with the calendar rather than run flat.

Consultant helping a customer in a showroom
04

Local services

Call-led, map-pack-adjacent, and highly seasonal. Appliance repair, home services, wellness.

D2C founder packing an online order
05

E-commerce and D2C

Shopping, feed health, and margin-aware bidding.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

Costs, minimum spend, ownership, tracking — the questions nobody else on this SERP answers in writing.

Still unsure? Get the findings →
How much does Google Ads management cost in Coimbatore?

Management fees here run roughly ₹3,000 to ₹15,000 a month flat, or 10–20% of ad spend. Mine start at ₹10,000/month plus GST, flat. At the bottom of that range you're generally buying a monthly screenshot rather than management.

Is my ad spend included in your fee?

No, and it never should be. Your spend goes directly to Google on your own card. My fee is a separate line. Any provider giving you one blended number is making it impossible for you to see what reached the auction.

What's the minimum ad spend for Google Ads to work in Coimbatore?

₹30,000 a month, in my experience. Below that you don't generate enough conversion data for automated bidding to learn or for you to judge the channel fairly. Anyone telling you there's no minimum is quoting Google's billing model, not reality.

Do I own the Google Ads account?

Yes. Created in your business name, you as administrator, your card paying Google. I link it to my manager account for access — a link you can sever yourself at any time.

What happens to my account if we stop working together?

My access is removed within two working days. Account, history, campaigns, conversion setup and documentation stay with you, handed over in writing.

Can you guarantee leads or a cost per lead?

No. Anyone who does is guessing or lying — nobody controls the auction, your competitors' budgets, or your close rate. What I'll commit to is a cost-per-lead target derived from your actual margins, agreed in writing, with full visibility into whether we hit it.

What counts as a qualified lead?

Whatever you and your sales team define, agreed before launch. Not every form fill and definitely not every WhatsApp click. Calls are tracked with a minimum duration, because a 4-second hang-up isn't a lead.

How fast will I see results?

Ads deliver clicks on day one and enquiries usually within the first week. But the first three weeks are learning: tracking verified, search terms cleaned, waste cut. Judge the account at 60–90 days, not 14.

Do you set up conversion tracking and GA4?

Yes, and nothing scales until it's verified. Where you have a CRM I also import qualified and closed leads back into Google Ads, so the bidding optimises toward customers rather than enquiries.

Should I run Performance Max?

Sometimes. It works when your conversion goal is clean and there's real data behind it, and it fails expensively when there isn't — it will amplify a bad goal faithfully. It is not a set-and-forget campaign, whatever the interface suggests.

Will you audit my existing account?

Yes. ₹8,000, credited against your first month if you continue, and you keep the document either way. Often the audit finds enough waste to pay for itself before we've changed anything.

Is Google Ads the same as Google AdWords?

It's the same platform — Google renamed it in 2018. Worth knowing because two of the pages ranking above this one still say “AdWords” in their headlines, which tells you how recently they opened the platform.

Do you work with my competitors?

No. One client per category per city. If I'm already running ads for a competitor of yours in Coimbatore, I'll tell you on the first call.

Should I do Google Ads or SEO first?

Different jobs. Ads produce enquiries this week and stop when you stop paying; SEO takes three to six months and compounds. Most Coimbatore businesses I work with run ads for immediate flow while SEO builds underneath. If your margins can't absorb ad spend, SEO first.

Do you run Meta and LinkedIn ads too?

Yes, where they earn their place. Meta is demand generation, Google is demand capture. Foot Treat's Facebook campaigns returned 3× at ₹23 a lead — but I'll tell you honestly when your money belongs on one platform rather than spread across both.

Let's look at your account.

Everyone in this market offers a free audit, so here's a specific one instead: the three largest sources of wasted spend in your account, in writing, whether or not you hire me. Usually search terms you're paying for that you'd never want, conversion tracking counting the wrong thing, or budget in a campaign type that stopped working two years ago.
