Three things, mostly. Work out where your enquiries could realistically come from. Build or fix the thing that captures them — usually the website. Then drive traffic to it through search rankings, paid ads, or both. The consultant part is the first step: deciding what not to spend on is usually worth more than the execution.

Retainers here run roughly ₹9,500 to ₹22,000 a month for SEO, ₹12,000 to ₹28,000 for a website. My own start at ₹10,000/month plus GST for SEO and ₹20,000 for a build. Honestly: under about ₹8,000 a month buys automated reporting and directory submissions, not work — and cleaning that up costs more than the saving.

Ads produce enquiries within days of going live. SEO is slower — Search Console impressions typically move in 4–8 weeks, rankings at 3–4 months, compounding growth from month six. If nothing has moved by month four, something is wrong and I'll tell you rather than keep billing.

You do. Every account is created under your email with you as owner and me as a user. Domain, hosting, files, Ads, GA4, Search Console, Business Profile. If anyone in this market tells you they need to own your ad account, walk away.

No, and neither can anyone else — Google doesn't sell ranking guarantees. What I'll commit to in writing is a specific 90-day definition of success, and full visibility into whether we hit it.

For local businesses, yes — with a caveat I'd rather give you upfront. Pew Research tracked real browsing across 68,879 Google searches and found people click a traditional result on only 8% of searches where an AI summary appears, versus 15% where none does. That's real. But local buying — map pack, “near me”, calls — is the segment least eroded, because an AI answer can't quote your job or book your appointment. And being cited inside an AI Overview delivers 120% more clicks per impression than not being cited on that same page, though it still trails a no-AI-Overview result by 38%. The work changed. It didn't disappear. Anyone still selling you 2019-style link building hasn't noticed.
