This Privacy Policy explains how Preatheep Samuel ("I," "me," or "my") collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal data when you visit preatheepsamuel.com (the "Website"), submit an enquiry, book a call, or otherwise interact with me.

I am the data fiduciary responsible for your personal data under applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the "DPDP Act").

I am an independent digital marketing consultant based in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India, and the founder of Search Engineers. I work with clinics, manufacturers, institutes, and professional service businesses.

2. The personal data I collect

a) Information you give me directly

When you fill in a contact form, request an audit, book an appointment, subscribe to updates, or message me, I may collect:

• The details you include in your enquiry or message

b) Information collected automatically

When you browse the Website, I and my analytics providers may collect:

c) Information from third parties

I do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data (such as financial account details, health records, or government IDs) through the Website. Please do not include such information in enquiry forms.

I use your personal data to:

5. Who I share your personal data with

I do not sell your personal data. I share it only with parties who help me operate my business, and only to the extent needed:

• CRM and lead management — to store and follow up on your enquiry
• Messaging — WhatsApp Business, where you choose to contact me on WhatsApp
• Analytics and advertising — Google (Analytics, Tag Manager, Ads) and Microsoft (Clarity), to measure Website and campaign performance
• Automation and email tools — my workflow automation and email tools, to route enquiries and send communications you have opted into
• Hosting and infrastructure — my website hosting provider
• Professional advisors — accountants, auditors, or legal advisors, where required
• Authorities — where I am legally required to disclose information

These providers process your data on my behalf under agreements that require them to protect it and use it only for the purposes I specify.

6. International data transfers

Some of the service providers listed above (for example, Google and Microsoft) may process personal data on servers located outside India. Where this happens, I take reasonable steps to ensure your data continues to be protected, and I transfer data only to jurisdictions not restricted under the DPDP Act.

• Enquiries that do not become engagements: retained for up to 24 months, then deleted or anonymised
• Client records: retained for the duration of the engagement and for the period required by tax, accounting, and legal obligations after it ends

Under the DPDP Act, you have the right to:

• Access — request confirmation of, and information about, the personal data I hold about you
• Correction and completion — ask me to correct inaccurate or incomplete data
• Erasure — ask me to delete your personal data where it is no longer needed
• Withdraw consent — withdraw any consent you have given, at any time
• Grievance redressal — raise a concern about how I handle your data (see Section 10)
• Nominate — nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity

9. Children's data

The Website and my services are intended for businesses and professionals, not for children. I do not knowingly collect the personal data of anyone under 18, and I do not direct advertising at children or carry out tracking or profiling of children. If you believe a child has provided me with personal data, contact me and I will delete it.
